Classic 44′ Hatteras Tri-cabin motoryacht!
She has the attributes that were unique to early Hatteras models such as excellent use of space, hulls laid up in solid GRP, the addition of a third double cabin and interior finishing techniques and materials that make this company’s vessels so identifiable. Original economical Detroit diesel 8-71 naturals/ 360 hp each provide the power.
Many updates have been completed on this classic to bring her back to her original glory.
She took top honors for best “original restoration” at the prestigious Ocean Reef Vintage Weekend in 2022.
The Master has 2 twin berths (can be converted to a queen). The mid stateroom contains 2 bunks. The forward stateroom is a V berth with 2 twins as well.
Newer galley countertop and backsplash. original floors sanded and varnished providing excellent access to the engine room. The Galley is equipped with an Auto Chef Microwave, and Oster Digital Convection Oven and a neat retro style Galanz Refrigerator.
The Helm and Aft Deck are enclosed with a custom Isinglass cover providing a ” room with a view” for entertaining or simply relaxing in any weather.
A beautiful restored teak ladder-back fighting chair used as a captain’s chair costs $1500, but it is easily removable if it is not to your taste.
Electronics include a Garmin GPS Map xs Depth Sounder/Plotter, a Garmin VHF Radio and Antenna, and a beautiful original compass. The Hatteras is wired for autopilot. There is a Boss Marine radio that provides music for the Aft deck.

The vessel will plane at 16 knots despite the trim tabs being in the up position and not operational. Three fuel tanks total 500 gallons to provide for long-range cruising.
